Why is it correction to beat a child when they are wrong- Singer Simi questions people who spank their child when they are wrong

Nigerian Singer, Simi has questioned why people spank their child as a means of correction.

According to the mom-of-one, she took to social media to opine that children are the original learners and need patience, communication as it is the better way to correct a child instead of Spanking the child.

This all started after she citied a Tweet whereby It asked people to stop spanking their children because it makes them violence instead of being loved.
