According to the US Authorities, they have urged their citizens to be vigilant and also avoid the areas affected by the protests in Nigeria and such places like Lagos state and Abuja (Federal Capital Territory, FCT).
The US government also said it has closed its consulate general in Lagos for the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday, October 21.
According to some of the statement that was stated; it reads,
"Some police stations have been targeted. Lagos State closed all schools indefinitely as of October 19 due to protests and implemented a 24-hour curfew starting at 4:00 p.m. on October 20. "Consulate General Lagos is closed for the rest of today and tomorrow."
