According to the Delta state Command, A 41yr old man (Ame Edjeket) caged his wife (Gladys) for 3yrs after he blamed her for being a witch and also behind their financial problems in their him in Orerokpe town, Delta state.
According to the reports from an Human right activist (Harrison Gwamnishu) he stated that the man (Ame Edjeket) Impregnanted his wife three times while he caged her.
He also stated that his wife defecated in the cage and also urinated there.
When arrested, Ame insisted his wife was a witch and mentally challenged and that he had taken her back to her family members but they rejected her.
The victim is currently receiving medical attention at the Orerokpe General hospital in Delta state.
